Jello Cookies

Hi Everyone

Last weekend was very busy we celebrated my daughters 5th Birthday. It was Under the Sea. I made some goodies such as Jello cookies, skittle marshmallows, and cake pops.

Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
4 pkg. of Jello

Directions:
Beat butter in large bowl until creamy. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and vanilla. Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Divide dough into 4 sections. Sprinkle 2 Tbsp. of jello onto each section. Knead together with dough. You may want to add a few drops of food coloring to make the dough more vibrant.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls.  Place 2 inches apart on baking sheets. Flatten with bottom of bowl or cup.
Bake 8 to 10 min at 350 on lined baking sheets. Cool on baking sheets for 2 min. Remove to wire racks and cool completely.
Makes 2 dozen.

Chicken, Potatoes and Green Beans

Love this!!!! I can't believe how easy this is you just throw it in the oven and that is it. You have your meat, vegetables and starch all at once. My family loves this recipe my husband works late and I juggle two kids all day. My youngest just started crawling which means this mama doesn't get a break so quick is what I'm looking for these days.

First I put the chicken breasts in the middle of the baking dish.
Then I cut up 3 to 4 good size potatoes and put them on one side of the chicken.

After that I line up the green beans on the other side of the chicken. I use frozen and french cut
that's what my husband likes he's kinda picky.

Then I cut the butter into squares and place them on top of the chicken, potatoes and green beans.
Then pour the packet of Italian seasoning over the pan and place foil over the pan.

Bake at 350 for 1hr.

Ingredients:
4 medium potatoes, cut up
2 cups green beans , cut up or frozen
1 lb chicken breasts
1/2 cup of butter
1 package of Italian dressing mix

What You'll Need:
Baking Dish

Directions:
Cut up green beans or what ever you prefer. I might try crinkle carrots next time.
Cut up potatoes then line the opposite side of the pan.
Line the chicken breasts down the middle
Cut butter up and layer over the green beans, potatoes, and chicken. Sprinkle Italian dressing over the entire pan. Cover with foil
Bake at 350 for 1hr.

Cheez-It Chicken

This mama has been a busy bee lately between taking the kids to the beach, water park, tumbling class, and all the other fun summer things I have been looking for easy and quick recipes. This recipe only takes 40 minutes.

First you crush up Cheez-Its in a bag. I found it easier to use a rolling pin.

Preheat the oven to 375.
Then place the chicken in sour cream and coat it with the Cheez-It crumbs.
Place them in the baking dish and drizzle butter over them.

After you do that place the chicken in the oven at 375 for 40 min.

And Viola!!!
